Krishnamurti Foundation of America: Annual Appeal

NAVIGATING UNCERTAIN TIMES . . .

Dear Friends of the Krishnamurti Foundation
& Oak Grove School -

We all know that things are tough right now.  The old points of reference are dissolving and it’s not certain where we are heading both economically, culturally, and personally.

But because of this instability, people all over the world, who may not ordinarily have thought deeply about what Krishnamurti has to say, are questioning the status quo.  Krishnamurti’s words can more easily take root as people rethink how they look at money, what they wanted in their lives, what they were grasping for.

In this midst of this crisis, the Krishnamurti Foundation has a powerful opportunity to reach the minds and hearts of many thousands whose habitual ways of thinking and getting comfortable have been disrupted.

The KFA wants to make the leap and connect with people during this time, but because our own investments have lost value along with everybody else’s, we need to trim expenses even more.  However, we must avoid cutting expenses to the point of cutting our mission out of the picture.

Can you help?

Please do what you can.  Are you able to give a monthly gift at a level you can manage, great or small? Or can you make an annual gift at a level best for you?  Our pooled contributions at any level will help us through this crisis —help keep Krishnamurti’s work available around the world and ensure that
Oak Grove School
continues to strengthen and nurture young people who are capable of independent observation and open-hearted engagement with their world.

Thank you for your support.  Let’s stay connected and be visible, available – part of the opening that can occur when things “go wrong.”

With gratitude,
